Symphonic Black Metal band from the South East of England. The bands name comes from an English translation of the 'Oskorai', an ancient legend found across Europe. On stage, the members wear outlandish costumes and theatrical paint to enhance their characters. The Furious Horde was formed in 2002 by vocalist/guitarist Ruptured Souls, guitarist Adam and drummer Marv, soon joined by bassist Awake and keyboardist Josiah. In 2007 the guitarist was replaced by Mortiroth. Drums duties changed to Patrick in 2008, and Koroner 2012. Most of their releases are limited in number, with many older releases now available for free download. They have played many prestigious festivals, including Bloodstock 2011 and MetalCamp 2012.
