Album AD 2008 on Gambit Records label
Jazz (Bop)
Tracks 1 to 4 recorded in Bremen, Germany at an unknown venue in September 1964. Tracks 5 to 8 recorded in concert in Paris, France at the Salle Pleyel on October 1, 1964. Tracks 2 and 7 are inexplicably credited to Jimmy Burns, this is the well known popular song co-written by Jimmie Davis and Charles Mitchell, which George Russell recorded a few years earlier for Riverside with a vocal by Sheila Jordan. Cootie Williams was credited as co-composer of "'Round Midnight" when it was published, as that was typical for the era when a sideman composed a song, the leader was often given co-composer credit.
