Alternative
90s rock band from Seattle which recorded few albums, before lead singer Mia Zapata was brutally raped and killed on her way home in 1993. "Home Alive" organization was created in her memory. After Gits broke up, Evil Stig (with Joan Jett replacing Mia) and Dancing French Liberals Of '48 were formed.
