The Great Bear

A.k.a. Rob Waters, Rob St.John, Jessica Burnett-Wain, Robert Stenhouse, Ian Humberstone

The Great Bear are a reluctant Edinburgh alt-blues/country band centred around the song-writing of Rob Waters. Yet to release a tangible album, they are well-known amongst the Scottish music community for their incendiary gigs. The band generally consists of guitar, harmonium, double bass, banjo, snare and melodica. The Great Bear are members of the Fife Kills: collective and regularly collaborate with, and play live with Eagleowl, My Kappa Roots and Tissø Lake amongst many others.
