The Hope Strings was an occasional group of Belgian musicians. They were brought together to assist in producing an album for the benefit of "Artsen Zonder Grenzen / Médecins Sans Frontières", co-ordinated by the charity foundation HOPE VZW/Antwerp. They included : Lucien Met den Ancxt, Diederik Gabriëls, Kathleen Mens, Wolfgang Heiremans, Guido Van Dooren, Wim Behets, Edwin Gosseie, Frederic Van Hille, Sofia Pevenage, Paul Bervoets, Bart Vanistendael, Luc Gheysbrechts, Brigitta Barzea and Peter Swinnen.
