The band was formed on 9 April 2005 in Makassar, Indonesia, and brought the musical genres of Rock and Roll. Young age does not mean raw in music since The Jokes personnel consists of people who have long been involved in the world of music in the city and outside the city of Makassar. Confidence, solidarity, willingness, experience, and hard work made this group quite mature and existence can be accepted in society, especially in Makassar.
