A.k.a. The Kubas
Originally known as The Kubas , The Koobas began in Liverpool in 1964. The following year they moved to London where they joined Tony Statton-Smith's management agency. A trip to Hamburg, a deal with Pye and a tour with The Beatles followed before the quartet signed with EMI in 1966. The Koobas had split up by the time their eponymous album was issued in 1969.
