The Lefties were a duo of Rop Vasquez and Christopher Applegren of The Peechees on guitar and drums, respectively, while both trading off vocal duties. The Lefties were a band that was in the twee/indie pop genre and the issued two releases. A 7 inch titled "Nightflight of the Bat Moon Dog" and full length cd "These Boys Love You, which was a mock of the Beach Boys Love You record. Both releases came out on X-Mas Records. Brent Rademaker and Josh Schwartz of Further/Beachwood Sparks engineered the album. The song "Red Roses" from "These Boys Love You" appeared on the "Pop American Style" compilation.
