The Lockers (originally named The Campbellock Dancers) were a dance group formed by Toni Basil and Don "Soul Train" Campbell in 1971. Active throughout the 1970s, they were pioneers of street dance. Don Campbell is the originator of the Locking dance style, which originally was called The Campbellock. The style was based on the dance and song that he created.
