American power pop band founded in 1991 in San Francisco by Scott Miller (4) and disbanded in 2006. They debuted on Alias Records in 1993 with the Mitch Easter produced Plants And Birds And Rocks And Things. Miller and his cohorts released a further seven albums over the next 13 years, without achieving the commercial success many say they deserved.
