The Marauders formed in Rochdale, Lancashire, England. They had been on the road since 1981 in one shape or another and continue to entertain all over the Northwest and beyond, at pubs, clubs and festivals and have supported legends of the music business, including Bo Diddley, Steve Gibbons Band, the Climax Blues Band to name a few, also a recorded session for the Paul Jones BBC Radio show ‘Blues On Two. The Marauders have been the first act to open many a blues club including: Blackpool’s Kite Club, Fleetwood’s Blues Club, also appearing at the first Burnley and Colne festivals, the Farnham Maltings and many others.
