Psychobilly / horror punk band from Chicago. Misfits & The Damned meet psychobilly. "Started in Feb 2004 with the original lineup of the Machetti, Hoagy Massacre, Mickey T. Craft, BJ Massacre and Kevin Massacre but after a series of lineup changes from 2004 - 2008 and 2 full lengths on Canada's Flying Saucer psychobilly label and Chicago's Bouncing Betty Records. The lineup and sound has matured to a degree where fiends and ghouls of the Misfits, Tiger Army and other horror punk / psychobilly fans can enjoy." "Storming Psychobilly 4-piece from from Chicago. The Massacres style of Psychosis mixes in influences from The Misfits, The Damned, The Rezurex and Tiger Army, resulting in a great album that rocks from the darkside." "In the beginning The Massacres were an unmarked grave in a sea of lonely headstones. The first corpse to be exhumed was Kevin Massacre closely followed by BJ - bass player of ultimate doom. From that fateful encounter The Massacres were born. Shortly after, a legion of guitar players were put to rest, when a worthy six stringer by the name of Mickey T. Craft came along. Slowly but very surely a new name was being carved into the headstone. As rehearsals came and went, it became apparent they needed to give a voice to their monster. Cue appearance of Hoagy. Originally from the U.K., Hoagy was found lurking in a dark alley downtown. With the line-up finally completed, The Massacres began pulling together a roster of fresh-from-the-graveyard songs. They soon conquered Chicago, and have begun to take on the rest of world. Consider yourself warned!!! The Massacres just completed a successful Western USA tour in July 2006, garnering rave reviews."
