In Greek mythology Pan, a half-man half-goat deity, taught the shepherd Daphnis how to play the flute. Today in the Moroccan village of Joujouka, The Rites of Pan are still celebrated through the fertility ritual and music of Boujeloud. Recorded between 1994 and 1996. Tracks 1 to 9 engineered at Twin Arrows, Brixton, London. Track 10 engineered in Paris. Mastered in Brussels, Belgium.
