Founded in 1990 by Carlos Santos, The Melancholic Youth Of Jesus (mYoj) soon became a reference amongst the Indie scene in Europe. After Carlos Santos' family moved from Zimbabwe to Portugal, a 15 year old Carlos, began working on several tracks that later would be released as "Hall Of Noises" (92), a Mini-LP that would trigger the curiosity of both Indie music fans and media. This led to Carlos forming The Melancholic Youth Of Jesus and set the rules of what would become the band's musical print.
