From a young age both Kevin and Ted were very big fans of dance music. At the age of 13 Kevin began his career as a DJ working at local nightclubs for free. At the age of 17 he was introduced to music production by 2 of his friends. They learned everything about sounds and how to build a track. They had alot of attention from DJ's wanting to play their tracks at gigs. A few years later the group split up. Kevin went solo making dance music in 2007. He released alot of tracks on the internet and sold them on ImoDownload.com. He had alot of followers for his music and gigs. In late 2008 he moved from dance music to electro and finaly made his first track. Not long after this he met Ted who was a talented producer, starting when he was only 13. He got really bored of all the same styles of music with producers trying to sound the same he decided to make his own unique sound. Starting from scratch with no one to teach him he quickly learned everything to start making his music. He varied his style from pop to dance doing remixes and his own tracks. After 5 years he added another style to his music and began producing electro. Meeting Kevin through an internet forum asking to remix his track, they got talking and after his remix was finished they decided to become one and combine their styles and make their future career as 'The Mobb'. Their first release was on Mental Madness for a remix of 'Dedicate - Raise Your Handz' and to follow their first e.p. which included tracks: 'Here We Go Now' 'I Wanna Make You Dance' 'Sound Of Disco' 'Where Is The Youth' and 'Work This'. More releases will follow soon Including their remix of 'Platinum Deejayz - Sex On Fire' Out on Mental Madness 07.08.2009.
