Jazz (Bop)
The Modern Jazz Quartet are the personification of musical elegance and one of the most long lasting successful ensemble's in the history of jazz. Our set comprises recordings made between December of 1952 and the summer of 1955. Marvelous refined performances including the masterpieces 'Django' and 'Concorde' and a live radio broadcast of a vintage performance of the Milt Jackson, John Lewis , Percy Heath and Kenny Clarke aggregation at Birdland in 1955.
