The Mystics from Louisville,KY formed by Dewey Hampton (Vocal),Diane Kirchner (Vocal),Carl Eckfoff (Keyboards),Vic Hayden(Vocal),Jim Lindell (Guitar),Buddy Carter (Bass Guitar) and Benny Devine (Drums). The group/band was formed in 1962 and were very locally popular with their one record. They played back up to Little Anthony & The Imperials, Brenda Lee & The Drifters. also singing in live acts with Roy Orbison, Ben E. King & Jerry Lee Lewis. In 1968 they changed their name to The Single Swingers but Jim Lindell's brother, Steve, formed another Mystic's group and recorded the songs What About Our Love & Ragtime on the Trump label.
