Album US 2010 on Cake label
Rock (Alternative Rock, Indie Rock)
The Nearly Brothers is the first musical project for Mark Snarski since the demise of his Sydney based band The Jackson Code in the late 90s. Having relocated to Madrid, Snarski teamed up with Irish guitarist TB Allen to hone a new collection of songs in the great rock traditions but cinematic in their sweep and moody in their treatment. Recorded in Australia with Mick Harvey producing (Nick Cave, PJ Harvey), Martyn Casey on bass (Nick Cave, The Triffids) and Bongo Fury from The Jackson Code on drums, YOU CAN T HIDE FROM YOUR YESTERDAYS is a powerful debut from a rejuvenated and hungry songwriter.
