'The Never Never', formed out of another band called 'Southern Aurora' from Geelong, VIC, Australia. (Not to be confused with another band Australian band called The Never Never (3) who are from Perth, and changed their name from 'Silent Type' to 'The Never Never' in 1981). In late 1984, Mick Thomas (lead vocals and guitar for Geelong band 'The Never Never') went on to form the first version of folk rock band 'Weddings Parties Anything' with a former band mate, Adams.
