Band, IE
Alternative
Band founded in early 1978 in Dublin, Ireland, and disbanded 1982. Originally a trio called "Sordid Details" (March 1978-June 1978), they changed their name to "The New Versions" in the summer of 1978 when adding Regine Moylett in the line-up. During their four year career, the band played all the main live music venues in Dublin, supported a number of touring bands and were part of one of the first New Wave tours of Ireland with fellow Dublin band Berlin.
