Brooklyn, NY, doowop group originally known as The Sinceres. Started out as a quintet with original members Tony Armato, Albie Galione, Vinny Acierno, Nicky Lombardi and John Pangi. After Lombardi and Pangi left the group, the three surviving members recruited lead singer Jimmy Gallagher with whom the group had its greatest success as a quartet during the late 1950's and early 1960's. Members: Jimmy Gallagher (Lead), Tony Armato (First Tenor), Albee Gallone (Second Tenor), Vinnie Aceierno (Baritone)
