Founded in Cardiff, Wales. The band recorded gospel themed beat music. The band's members included Lindsay Morgan, Anthea Morgan (Lindsay's sister), Michael Bannister (departed prior to third release, ELR 1075), Jacqueline Clifton, Mary Dalling (departed prior to third release, ELR 1075), James Atkinson (departed prior to third release, ELR 1075), John Patterson (departed prior to third release, ELR 1075) and Richard Howells. For their third EP titled THE PROCLAIMERS , lead guitarist Ian Deans, drummer Graham Turner and vocalist Rob Donaldson joined the group. Their fourth EP was also titled THE PROCLAIMERS.
