Brass, Jazz and Classical
Amateur brass band, formed 1937. Chelmsford's one-time largest employers as a bearing manufacturing company merged in 1969 to form The Ransome Hoffman Pollard Company Limited, but have been primarily based in Newark. Have won Midlands Brass band competition 29 times.
