Alabama Hard Rockers THE RAT RACE are fronted by McQUEEN STREET's vocalist Derek Welsh and bassist Richard Hatcher. From 1993 until 1997 THE RAT RACE, working with producer Neal Avron, recorded three albums, 'Alice' in 1993, 'Uncle Jim's Secret Garden' in 1995, and 'Live Unelectrified' recorded in 1996. However, the band folded during 1997.
