The Raven Quartet (often stylised as "RaVen") was an English all-female string quartet "disillusioned with the traditional background role of the string quartet and frustrated with tired old repertoire formed in 2007 over a very spicy pizza in Soho". It consisted of Stephanie Benedetti (violin), Kirsty Mangan (violin), Natalie Holt (viola) and Rachael Lander (cello). The group has performed in Europe, Africa and Asia and recorded with artists such as Gorillaz, Jools Holland, Leona Lewis, Gwen Stefani and Heather Nova before separating in 2014.
