The the Ray Manning Singers was a group of contemporary gospel singers, founded in September, 1973, by Marvelyn Manning and Ray Manning Jr.. The group appeared at numerous churches as well as numerous television appearances in the Metropolitan Kansas City area. The group appeared in concert with such artists as The Five Blind Boys of Alabama, The Howard Lemon Singers, The Angelic Gospel Singers, Rance Allen, Gloster Williams and the King James Version, James Cleveland, The Brooklyn Allstars, Vernard Johnson, and Sarah Jordan Powell.
