Band, *1984 ES
Pop and Rock
Spanish pop-rock band founded in Madrid in 1984, formed by Máximo J. Vázquez "Bernárdez" (voice), Juan Ramón Pardo "Pardini" (guitar) , "Bul Bul" (drums) and Alberto J. Oyarbide "Albertín Sobórnez" (bass). They made funny lyrics with reggae and ska rhythms. Their greatest hit was "Aquí no hay playa", written and broadly played (live and in radio stations) in 1986, but not recorded until 1989, when it became that summer's biggest hit.
