Band created in 1988 by Jack Monck and WillenJan Droog after meeting each other in London through their mutual friend Phil Miller. They started writing together and involved musicians from Rotterdam except Marc Hadley joining from London. Since 2004, The Relatives got together again, toured Holland and Belgium (and occasionally UK) and recorded sevaral albums.
