Alias for the Buffalo, New York rock 'n roll band Stan And The Ravens. The band is mysteriously credited as The Rivals [on this release only], a name they never used and had no knowledge of, until the pressed records found their way to Buffalo. This decision was made by the record company and probably necessary, as there was a previous hit-making Ravens as well as myriad regional Ravens across the USA.
