From 1935 to 1976 The Philadelphia Orchestra was presented as The Robin Hood Dell Orchestra for the summer concert series held at the Mann Center for the Performing Arts. The series moved into a facility in West Fairmount Park with an approximate capacity of about 14,000 in 1976.
