Originally formed as The Rhythm Aces on a US Army base in Germany, three members of that band later formed The Rockets (25). After Chuck Rowan left, they changed their name to The Rocketeers. Members included Vince House, Billy Steward, Woody Johnson and Jimmy Brunsen. They recorded for Modern Records (2). Later name changes included Magic Notes and The Planets.
