The Roosters were a Garage Folk Rock band, from Westchester, California, a suburb of L.A., USA, formed in 1964. All of the members were between 14-16 years old. Members: Ray Mangigian on lead vocals and harmonica. Levitt Earhart on rhythm guitar, Timothy Ward (2) on Lead 12 String, background vocals and writing, Floyd Fletcher on bass guitar and background vocals and Jim Peters on drums. The band broke up as they were unable to commit to a tour, for their label, since they were all still in high school.
