Savages was a Finnish rautalanka band, founded in 1962. In addition to their own career, they also worked as a backing band for Anki Lindqvist and Rock-Jerry in 1962. Line-up: * Ole Halén - solo guitar * Hasse Von Hertzen - rhythm guitar, (vocals) * Kurt Wenner - bass, (vocals) * Martin Brushane - drums The band released five singles through Parlophone. Their first single was called "The Savages Theme", released in 1963. The second single, released the same year, became their biggest hit, it was an English version of Matti Jurva's Väliaikanen, "Temporary". The third single was also released in 1963, "Soita, Humu-Pekka/Lännen lokari". In 1964 the band released two singles, "Sataman valot" and "Hip hop". After that the band was disbanded.
