Album ES 2001 on Rock Indiana label
Rock
Sydney-based The Scruffs released the album 'The Actual Size' in 2001 on Spanish label Rock Indiana, for the Australian release of the album the following year the band not only changed their name (The Wake Ups) but the album's title (Wanna Meet?) to avoid problems with their previously-existing namesakes in Memphis. The new title? Seems it's a homage to the original Scruffs, a late '70s outfit, whose debut album was titled Wanna Meet the Scruffs?
