What Is The Shady Corps? The Shady Corporation also known as the "Shady Corps" is a rap group. It is modeled after the "Marine Corps". In the fashion of training and preparing for war. In this case the war referred to is the war between real Hip Hop and the "Culture Vultures"(people out to exploit the culture). The Shady Corps is comprised of Pacewon (from the "Outsidaz" and "Pacewon and Mr. Green" fame) and several M.C.'s and producers. The "Shady Corps" is also an Eminem tribute band. Honoring and celebrating real hip hop while carrying on the tradition set forth by Eminem of Out spoken, witty, saavy, and insightful lyrics... Also what Pace likes to call "nifty lyrics"... Eminem was also a member of the group "Outsidaz"... They share a history that is mostly documented in their songs. For instance on "Fine Line" Eminem explains conditions of their early days in the music industry together... Eminem and Pacewon have collaborated on numerous songs together such as "Take The World", "Macosa", and "Rush Ya Clique"... Pacewon came up with the idea for the Shady Corps while writing the song "He Said It"... The 3rd verse of "He Said It" explains it all: *I remember getting high and riding over a bridge... Pulling up in San Francisco and fighting some kids... And it was cool cause it was our first scuffle as a unit... We don't back down from a beef, we step to it... We don't give way to a storm, we get through it... We even took our motto from Nike, "Just Do It"... We made an oath, cracked a bottle, made a toast... The oath should be honored cause I feel I'm kind of dope... So uh, keep it real, my brother... Hook your mans up with a deal my brother... Child support's killing me, my license suspended, I can't even get behind the wheel my brother... Sometimes I feel my brother... I let the music industry steal my brother... So I'm out for vengeance, screaming and blasting and... I'ma start a new group and name it after him... I'm starting up the Shady Corps... Spitting that real hip-hop like this was Eighty-Four... That Role Model, nigga, that rah-rah, that crazy raw... Music, people pay it more attention than they pay to y'all... So I'ma be fine... Just like these ho's that I'm meeting online... Just like these ho's that I meet at the mall... If you see Eminem, tell him give me a call... Yo... Throughout the series of musical events that take place you will hear familiar phrases, names, and slang... As well original commentary based on prior songs and characters from Eminem and Pacewon's catalogs... Many new innovative pieces will also be shared...
