The Silent Pistols formed in Rome, Italy, in 1992. It's a bizzare art project releasing empty records that can't be played. They call themselves "The Heroes Of Silence". Their first release was the 12" "The Screaming Noise Of Silence", in 100 numbered copies. The vinyl is completelly blank, without any track on it. Second release was the 7" "N.U.L.L.A.", an empty sleeve without anything inside. Third release was "Your Name Your Number (From A To Z)", a telephone book! Fourth release was a clear plastic fake CD entitled "Hush! They Can Hear You (NothingNadaNienteNiente MegaRaveHyperMix)" The only way to listen to anything by this band is to attend their secret live concerts, which they give each year at precise dates: 03-03-03, 04-04-04, 05-05-05, 06-06-06, 07-07-07, 08-08-08. 09-09-09, 10-10-10, 11-11-11 and so on 12-12-12.
