Prolific 1960's garage rock band from Milwaukee WI. They released a dozen singles, an EP and an LP between 1965-1970. Later line ups were known for the gimmick of a white stripe bleached into each members hair. A reformed version of the band performed live in 2015. Gary E. Myers' definitive Wisconsin rock discography "Do You Hear That Beat" says The Skunks were second only to fellow Milwaukeeans The Legends in the "Most-Expected To Make It But Didn't" band category.
