The Squids were a Chicago punk band formed in 1989 and disbanded in 2005. The band consisted of Joey Spatafora, William LaTour, Bolander Davis, Judy Johnson, Jimmy Vass, Bob Fesus, Dave Hunt, and Scot Bahry. Throughout their history, they regularly played a number of famous Chicago venues, including The Sanctuary and The Metro, and festivals including North by Northeast. The band released five cassettes, one vinyl album, a greatest hits compilation on CD, and The Squids released a digital only CD titled "The Squids Greatest Hits - Smell My Fingers" on April 1st, 2017.
