A.k.a. The Buckeyes
Vocal group from Steubenville, Ohio. Started in the mid 50s as a doo-wop act before having their biggest hit 'Stereo Freeze' in 1967 on the local Hyde label. The group was picked up by Cadet who released Stereo Freeze nationally. The group recorded one other single for Cadet which failed to make any impact. They disbanded in 1968. Members: Bruce Robinson (Lead), Leroy Swearingen (Tenor), Nathaniel Hicks (Tenor) (replaced Swearingen in 1960), Ronnie Collins (Bass), Sam Profit (Second Tenor), George Otis (Baritone)
