Band, GB
Rock
Formed in Paignton, Devon, UK in 1984, The Strolling ones were two brothers (nowadays called Stewart Keith and Martin Bizarro). They combined wild musical and sonic experimentation with alternative comedy. No really. Very few recordings made it out of the bedroom - Richard Youngs's Jabberwok was their only label. The duo then joined Well Crucial, some of whom became the A-band. They rarely play live - two gigs in 1989 and two in 2005. In 1988 they made Two Minds Working as none, a short video film with Neil Campbell. Influences: Alternative Comedy, The Beatles, William S Burroughs, Cabaret Voltaire, Kraftwerk, Marvel comics, Monty Python, Pink Floyd, The Residents, Throbbing Gristle,
