Track A1 was recorded in rehearsal in New York City around September 24th, 1965. Tracks B1 to B3 were recorded live at Olatunji's Loft, New York in the spring of 1965. Soloists on A in order of appearance: John Gilmore Danny Davis Pat Patrick Marshall Allen Harry Spencer Pat Patrick is credited on the cover with "tympani on Cosmic 'Eye'", but there is no track by that name on this record. Back cover reads "Sun Ra with his Solar Arkestra". This version has white Saturn labels and is most likely the first issue. Some copies have promo stamps.
