Rock 'n' roll, doo wop, R&B vocal group from Louisville, Kentucky, U.S. Formed in 1960 and disbanded in 1972. Comprised of Johnny Hourigan (lead) Joe Bergman (tenor); Bill Summitt (baritone), replaced by Jim Settle in 1961, replaced by Charlie Schuck in 1965, Bill Mathley (bass). They began as the Four Frantics. active mostly in the 1960s.
