Rock
Ashtabula, Ohio 1965-9 A four member band that released two 45s on the Genuine label out of New York City. The band were fans of Paul Butterfield and Chicago blues, and following their influences, recorded their 1st 45 at Chess studios. They took the recording to some New York record companies and placed them on Genuine. The songs were a stormin' redition of Butterfield's "Lovin' Cup" and the Buddy Holly classic "It's So Easy". The 45 was a local hit so Genuine released a second 45, the soulish dancer "The Walk" and a moody original "People Try My Mind". A third 45 was recorded but never released.
