there were several universals groups back in the 50s/60s (just like f.e. there were several 'crystals' groups..) according to my information this group was different to the universals from long island that recorded for festival. considering style and production to me it rather seem to be unlikely that these are previously unreleased tracks from 1953 like it's rumoured but who knows? - tell me if you do - great r&b vocal group in any way.
