The Vampires leave Hamburg after 2 heroic, but remarkably unsuccessful tries to win the annual Battle of the Bands there in 64 and 65. They moved to Spain and released six 7"s for the Sesion-label. Their output usually consisted of covers. They later changed their name to Evolution (20). Original members: Det Ferring: Vocals / Joe Schilken: Vocals / Micky Kluge: Drums / Wolfgang Jünger: Bass / Paul Waldhecker: Sax, Arranger.
