Doo Wop / Soul vocal group from New York, U.S.A. Formed in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn in the mid 50s. The group originally consisted of Jerome "Speedo" Ramos (lead vocals), John Cheatdom (2) (first tenor), Donald Haywoode (second tenor), Kenneth Walker (baritone), Marvin Holland (bass) and pianist Calvin Hayes. In 1968 they became The Fantastics.
