A.k.a. Nighttime Visitor
New wave band from The Netherlands, with singer/guitarist Ernst Langhout and drummer Bertus de Blaauw as founding members. The band, which had an earlier incarnation as Nighttime Visitor, existed from 1980 till 1988. Their final concert has been released on a double LP: Live. The Visitor was part of a scene called 'De Friese Bries', a name for adventurous new bands from the Frisian region of the country. Related acts were for instance Weekend At Waikiki and Social Security (3) and many of the acts on Top Hole Records. Ernst Langhout continued as a solo artist, playing folk-inspired music.
