The Voices Of East Harlem were a vocal group formed in the early 70s. The Voices were, an often, 20-member ensemble whose ages ranged from 12 to 21. They worked with producers Leroy Hutson and Curtis Mayfield on their recordings for the Just Sunshine Records label. They are best remembered for Leroy Hutson's writting / production 'Cashing In' and 'Wanted, Dead, Or Alive' from heir 1973 album 'The Voices Of East Harlem'.
