Winner of the prestigious 2010 ACLU Award for "Most Curse Words In The First Line of a Love Song (Non-Rap Division)." Written as I was considering the latest in a string of complete and totally f-ed up situations/relations that no smart man has business being involved in. At the time, it occurred to me that maybe the reason for this continued accumulation of wrong place and wrong time might be that somewhere someone else might be living through parallel but altogether other miserable f-ed up situations. And that maybe someday we might both come running full speed around opposite ends of a building, crack heads together (*insert loud coconut on coconut sound here*) and laying on the ground rubbing our foreheads and cursing, both coming to the realization that maybe all of it made sense after all..."Maybe I Was Waiting For You." Yeah, I know...romantic drivel unbecoming a card-carrying cynic, but the song jumps.
