Album US 2015 on Bright Antenna label
Pop
In honor of Record Store Day 2015, Bright Antenna Records put together the very first BAR compilation release. Featuring 4 exclusive tracks from The Wombats, Cheerleader, Flagship and Beware of Darkness, this clear vinyl 10″ record comes with a digital download card. The Wombats are three lads from Liverpool. For this release, they bring the US a cover of “True Faith” by New Order. The band released Glitterbug, their third full-length album, on April 14th. Cheerleader is a five-piece hailing from Philly. Here they perform “Mine All Mine.” The band will release their first full-length, The Sunshine of Your Youth, on May 19. Flagship, BA’s southern gentlemen, reside in North Carolina. “I Want You” is the first track the band has released since the UK reissue of their self-titled debut in 2014. Beware of Darkness is Kyle Nicolaides. On 2/10, he released his first EP since 2013, the Sanctuary Season mixtape. For Record Store Day, he brings us the never-before-heard “What’s a Boy To Do.”
